GMC Envoy Denali
The GMC Denali trim have always been associated with luxuriousness. It was first
introduced in 1999 and was only available for the GMC Yukon. But for the year
2005, the GMC Envoy and Envoy XL will be benefited by the luxury and elegance
of the Denali trim.
The GMC Denali will not be available until April next year for the 2005 GMC Envoy
model year. Aside from the features that we can already see in GMC Yukon Denali,
the new Envoy Denali will be equipped with a brand new engine, the Vortec 5300
Generation IV V8 engine that can produce 290 hp 325 lb-ft of torque. It will also
be equipped with the Hydar-Matic 4-speed automatic transmission. For the succeeding
productions, it will be equipped with the Displacement on Demand (DOD), a fuel
saving feature.
The 2005 GMC Envoy Denali will be equipped with exterior features that can be
seen on the existing Denalis like a chrome mesh grille, body-color trim, and revised
front and rear fascias with tighter gap tolerance. It will also be equipped with
17 inches forged-aluminum wheels and was promised to be equipped with 18 inches
wheels for the 2006 model. The new Denali will also be released with a distinct
funning board and a headlight washer for better illumination.
Inside, the GMC Envoy Denali will be quieter compared to the other Envoy SUVs
because of the application of an interior noise reduction package. Other interior
features include leather-appointed seating with French seam stitching, leather
wrapped steering wheel, and burl wood grain and satin metallic accents. Also available
as optional features are a touch-screen navigation system, rear-seat entertainment
system with DVD player and the XM Satellite Radio.
